About Louis
I have been playing the piano for 14 years under the instruction of a variety of teachers, including those who studied in Russia, the United States, China, and Belgium. I have won numerous awards from competitions ranging from local to international, including the King's Peak and LA Young Musician international competitions, though at heart I believe that music is played for the individual, rather than competitively.

I know a variety of piano techniques, having studied with various teachers throughout the years, mainly traditional Russian techniques for classical piano. I prefer to teach students who can read music and some experience playing the piano. I can also teach beginners, in which case training methods do not come into play until later.
