About Michelle
My name is Michelle Alexander... (A qualified Graphic Designer/Artist/
Illustrator of all Infographics/Photographer/Motivational Speaker). I grew up in Bella Vista,
a small area outside a small town Ceres in the Western Cape. From a early age in my life, art has helped me deal with poverty, pain and the difficult challenges life and apartheid threw at me. Art & creativity healed me & help me to find my purpose in life.
My ultimate purpose in life is to pay it back to the youth, communities, schools, less priviledge
& lost generation of teenagers.
Alexander Acadamy of Art and Design offers FREE CLASSES to the underpreviledge and any member of public.
We teach about art, train how to paint, how to draw, how to sculpt, how to paint murals, how to create art from recycling materials, how to get involved in media training (graphic design/ journalism/photography).
My aim is to train everyone FOR FREE who is interested to enable them for a brighter future.
I never want to see a generation of “lost” teenagers...
the way I have experience in apartheid when I grew up,
and all doors were shut in my face. Please allow me to assist & educate those who are willing to let art & creativty open their future and heals in any way possible.
