About Rhea
I am a guitar tutor with 3+ years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering (Guitar Focus). My lessons focus on jazz and blues improvisation across various subgenres. Students learn modal scales, arpeggios, and dominant seventh theory to strengthen technical and harmonic understanding. Bebop phrasing and stylistic exercises help build a personal improvisational voice. Intermediate and Advanced learners, including those preparing for gigs, gain practical guidance in soloing and phrasing. Lessons are supportive, interactive, and goal-oriented. Students learn to translate theory into fluid, expressive playing. Exercises combine technical drills with creative musical exploration. Confidence, musicality, and individuality are key outcomes. Each session is tailored to personal goals and skill level. Students are encouraged to discover their unique sound. Music is taught as both a craft and a form of self-expression. Together, we will embark on a journey of spontaneous musical creation.
