About Farane
I am currently a Second Year student at Carleton University studying English with a concentration in Creative Writing, aiming to pursue a Master's degree and Ph.D. to become an English professor.
I have a strong passion for both creative and proffesional writing and LOVE editing essays for other people. I have 4+ years of experience tutoring in High School, and have been editing people's essays for just about as long.

Have you ever struggled with writing an essay, and just wished you had somebody there to read over your work and improve what you have written? Look no further! I aim to help students of all ages edit and revise their school papers and achieve academic success.
Here is what my service includes:
-Editing for any grammatical mistakes (run-ons, awk. sentences, punctuation, etc).
-Revising and rewriting sentences to make them more structurally sound and professional.
-Adding notes and suggestions on how to improve thesis/topic sentences if your argument is unclear.
-Ensuring your citations are correctly written.
-Ensuring all academic sources (if applicable) are effective for writing a high-quality paper.
-Proofreading and adding final touches to final drafts before handing them in.
*All work and communication can be done via email/text message, if the student prefers*
Otherwise, my service includes a half-hour Zoom webcam session to go over edits/suggestions that have been made to the final draft. In these sessions, I would share my screen and review the changes I have made to the essay and why. It is also a great time to ask questions regarding essay writing or about your paper!
