About Crissy
I have taught in public school at the middle school level for over 15 years and have tutored in person for almost 7 years in all subjects but focus mainly on Writing and Reading. When I attended college, I conducted individual and group writing tutorials for fellow college students in all subject matters even Master's students needing help with dissertations. I am trying to expand my tutoring sessions by going online in addition to in person tutoring.

My teaching style is discussion based and this method helps take what you already know and build on that rather than wasting time harping on the concepts you've already mastered. My focus is in writing and I can tutor at all levels but focus mainly on middle and high school. I frequently tutor students as they read assigned novels and this involves reading with them and focusing on details that help improve understanding. I can also proofread essays and conduct writing conferences that would help you elevate your end pieces and help improve your writing skills for future work.
