About Janet

Kia Ora! I'm Janet and I'm a creative individual that wants to share that creativity with the world. I've always wanted to work for myself and create an environment where I can put all my skills together. I want to show individuals and groups my knowledge and experience with crafting, dance, circus, and international language.

About the lesson

I've been happily teaching aerial arts since 2016 and have trained in places in Los Angeles such as SwingIt Trapeze, interned at Womack & Bowman, and Cirque School LA. I've expanded over the years and enjoy sharing my knowledge of fire performance with fans, poi, and dragon staff with my students. I especially love coming up with duo and trio performances for fire fans. In another part of my life, I teach modular origami to kids and adults. Origami has been a big part of my life since I was in grade school that when I reached my 20s I'd gone to conventions in the US. I've attended Pacific Coast Origami Convention in 2009 and 2010 and loved learning from so many talented artists. If there's art to be made in any shape or form, or you have a project you are working on and are seeking assistance with, or you just want to get your feet wet and start learning, please get in contact. :)

Janet has an amazing gift of building up your confidence when you don't quite feel food enough. She will never let anyone give up on themselves and helps build confidence like no other.
