About Jim
Hi, my name is Jim I'm from Wales in the UK. I hold a CELTA qualification for teaching English as a foreign language to adults, as well as a PGCE in secondary school technology. I graduated from Swansea University with a master's degree in mechanical engineering before transitioning into teaching. I am patient, adaptable, and enjoy new challenges. I have experience working with individuals from many different nationalities and cultural backgrounds. Additionally, I've worked in secondary schools with many children who have additional learning needs.

When it comes to addressing an individual's learning needs, I adapt my teaching style to fit the student’s requirements, incorporating fun and creativity into the lessons. Currently, I teach Business English online, a specialism I have pursued for the past eight years. Prior to this, I taught English for seven years in a university setting and five years in secondary schools. In my current teaching role, I work with all levels, from beginners to advanced students, and I also prepare students for various exams, including TOEIC, IELTS, and the Cambridge English exams.
