About Mason
My name is Mason and I'm a graduate student in Pittsburgh, PA. As a student and staff member of Duquesne University, I breathe academia and love to help others find their passion for learning. My time in grade school was difficult, especially after being diagnosed with learning disabilities much later than the average student. These hardships led me to develop study skills that I've used to help other learners whose brains work a little different from the average student. I am a patient, caring, and encouraging tutor, truly invested in your success. I can't wait to start working together!

My goal as a tutor is to not only help you hone your craft, but to make you feel empowered by the knowledge you carry. While I was in school, I was diagnosed with ADHD and Dyslexia, and still managed to graduate in the top 1% of my class. If I can do it, I believe anyone can too!
In our sessions, I will take a moment to get to know you and your objectives, and find which methods of learning feel good for you. We can work through specific coursework, or more generally on developing your voice as a writer.
Together we will set attainable goals, break down complex topics, and take all the steps we need to help you level up!
