About Ariana

I’m a French tutor with over 3 years of teaching experience and a PhD in French Linguistics. My passion is helping teenagers connect with the language in ways that feel real and exciting. I use French youth culture—music, social media, and teen films—to make lessons engaging. This approach shows students that French is more than grammar rules; it’s a living, breathing culture. I also teach contemporary slang so they can understand and speak like real French teens. My goal is always to build conversational fluency that feels natural. Lessons are interactive, lively, and tailored to each student’s interests. I believe learning works best when it feels relevant to everyday life. Teens learn better when they see themselves in the material. That’s why I create memorable lessons they can connect with beyond the classroom. I love watching confidence grow as students realize they can truly communicate. Together, we’ll build a strong foundation while having fun with authentic French.

About the lesson

My teaching approach makes learning French both joyful and stylish. I connect lessons to fashion design vocabulary, trend descriptions, and conversations about haute couture. This keeps learning fresh and inspiring. Students practice discussing collections, describing styles, and exploring the fashion world in French. I create a relaxed and interactive environment where conversation flows naturally. My method makes each session engaging and memorable. I am especially skilled with Conversationalists who want to refine their speaking skills. I also enjoy guiding Immigrants and Newcomers, helping them feel confident in both daily life and cultural discussions. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and interests. I nurture curiosity through fun activities like describing looks or analyzing fashion shows. Vocabulary grows alongside confidence. I believe French should feel chic and approachable. With my support, students learn to express themselves clearly while enjoying the process. Together, we make French stylish, meaningful, and fun.
