About Nicole
I am a current student at the University of Cambridge, studying Spanish and German. Alongside my study of the languages, I also take modules in history, literature, philosophy and linguistics. When I was studying for my GCSEs and A Levels, I did extensive research on effective studying techniques. I incorporate these into my tutoring, so I can help students succeed in exams like I did. I am passionate about analysing literature in new and interesting ways, inspiring enjoyment in my students.

I aim to teach English (English Language GCSE, English Literature GCSE and A Level) in an effective and fun way. My approach is personalised to each student. We will both work through exam papers and read / analyse texts together, to develop your language and analysis skills. Typically, a lesson will last 1 hour. I have experience in tutoring English online, and achieved grade 9 in both English Language GCSE and English Literature GCSE, and also an A* in English Literature.
For younger students, I also tutor literacy and reading skills. At university I have written many literary commentaries, thus I also offer commentary skills lessons.
