About Erika
I am a recent graduate of the University of Ottawa. I have experience in tutoring middle students in French. I have a degree in linguistics and therefore thoroughly comprehend the process of language acquisition. I can also assist students in the mastery of formal English and French writing. English is my first language, but I have an advanced knowledge of the French language as well (oral and written).

I ask that all students provide me with examples of their past or current work in the courses in which they need tutoring. My approach to tutoring is to cater to a student's specific needs and skill level in order to help them along. In the case of language learning, I prefer the method of immersing the student in the language that they are attempting to master, and would therefore speak to them in this language (ex. French) except in cases where further explanation must be conducted in the student's first language (ex. English) to ensure that they properly understand a concept.
