About Kassidy
I have a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing with a minor in History from Marshall University. During my time there, I held tutoring jobs in my university's Writing Center, as well as the academic center for student-athletes. I have taken classes in English Literature, Textual Analysis, Theory, and Creative Writing especially. I have written in genres such as poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, and I have studied these genres a lot throughout my time in college. Thanks to my minor, I have also written academic essays about history, such as a book review about a historical novel and an essay examining the history of the War on Drugs. In my time as a tutor, I have assisted students in writing assignments in various subjects, from English Composition to Nursing to Psychology.

As a tutor, I focus on helping students with writing needs and basic skills in editing and structure. I will assist middle school, high school, and college students with any English assignments, or other writing assignments in other subjects if they need. I have experience tutoring college-aged students during my undergrad, and teaching English Lit and Creative Writing are some of my biggest passions.
