About Eden
My family migrated to the United States in the mid 90s. I already spoke 2 languages by that time so I learned to speak English fluently only after a couple of years. I started out as an average student but transformed into an above average and sometimes outstanding student over the years. I've been through ups and downs so I know a thing or two about getting out of the hole.
My favorite subjects in school were Math and Economics. I transfered to college as a Business Major but switched majors after a year because I fell in love with writing and politics. I finished my degree in Political Science/Legal Studies.
After college I worked for my family business for few years then I did some traveling across the country. For the past 10-15 years I wore many hats in my career. I've been an entrepreneur pretty much all of my professional duration. I've held positions in Customer Success, Restaurant Management, Market Research, Digital Marketing, Creative Writing and Social Media Management.
This kind of teaching is new to me. I volunteered as a tutor in high school and college. I was a Teacher's Assistant a couple of times during college. I've given short lessons in person and virtually so I am very familiar with how to conduct a lesson. Truthfully, this is the first time I'm holding an actual teaching position. I am truly excited and can't wait for us to learn and grow together.

Like all my favorite teachers:
I will go over chapters/lessons with you in class as if we were both students and teachers together. Before I assign homework, I like to do a couple of practice problems with the students in class to help them prepare for the homework. Practice makes perfect as they say. My lessons are for K-12 students, mainly in English and Math but I'm happy to take a look at other subjects you need help with and see if I can help.
