About Christelle
Hi, my name is Christelle and I'm from Connecticut, USA. From as far back as I can remember, I've always had a dream and a passion for teaching others. I would love to be able to pass on knowledge to my students and help them open up many doors to new things. Being able to learn and use knowledge is extremely beneficial, especially when it comes to English as it's one of the most widely used languages in the world now. I've just returned from a two-year journey where I was living abroad in Egypt and while being there, I was able to meet and teach many people from different backgrounds. With that opportunity and experience now behind me, I would love to continue my teaching career by teaching virtually. For my students, I know that learning a new language can be life-changing and that is what motivates me to be a teacher. In addition to traveling, I love using many different forms of art to create things as a pastime.

My main focus and goal when it comes to teaching is for my student to be able to speak English naturally and confidently. I lean towards a more natural teaching method rather than strict grammar and rules because I want my student to retain their new knowledge in the long-term rather than just memorize it. My main subjects that I love to teach are vocabulary building and speaking/conversation skills. Each lesson is customized exactly to each student, which means that I put a lot of my effort preparing materials before the class starts to make sure the class is efficient and engaging.
