About Fatima
I am a student at Northeastern University London studying Computer Science and Business, with a pathway in Economics.
I completed my A-levels and IB courses at sixth form in summer 2024. I'm from Boston, UK and have previously lived in Dubai, UAE, where I grew up!

I am able to personalise my teaching methods to cater to your learning needs as I too have many different ways of studying; not only one works for me. I have attained a 6 in IB English Language and Literature HL in May 2024 so I do have recent experience with exams.
A typical session length would be one hour but can go half an hour overtime whenever needed.
In these sessions, we will focus on:
- Textual Analysis: Learn how to break down complex texts, identify key themes, and analyse literary devices with precision.
- Essay Writing: Develop structured, well-argued essays that meet the IB criteria. We'll work on improving your thesis statements, argument coherence, and textual evidence integration.
- Exam Techniques: Master the strategies needed to excel in both Paper 1 and Paper 2, including time management, question interpretation, and planning.
- Coursework Support: Receive guidance on your Individual Oral (IO) and the HL Essay, ensuring your work reflects deep understanding and original thought.
- Tailored Feedback: Benefit from personalised feedback on your assignments and practice papers, highlighting areas for improvement and providing actionable tips.
I would prefer students who are studying Persepolis for their non-literary texts, A Streetcar Named Desire and A Doll's House for their literary texts, but if not I can always have a read through of the texts you are studying!
