About Taryna

Hello, I'm Taryna, and I'm dedicated to helping you unlock your musical potential. With a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, teaching licenses, and certifications in TEFL, TESOL, and ESOL, I bring a solid educational foundation to my music instruction. I've been playing guitar since the age of 8 and have honed my skills over the years. I also taught myself how to play the piano as an adult so I understand how it feels to learn a new instrument as an adult and understand how important modifying lessons are. With nine years of teaching experience in elementary schools, tutoring, and online language instruction, I've developed a dynamic teaching approach that caters to various learning styles. What sets me apart is my ability to create a positive and structured learning environment, ensuring that you not only learn but also enjoy the journey. My background as a mom and farmer has taught me the importance of nurturing growth and promoting a safe, supportive space for learning. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I'm here to guide you every step of the way. I'm excited to share my passion for music with you and help you reach your full potential. Are you ready to embark on a musical journey? Hi, I'm Taryna, and I'm excited to be your guitar teacher! My teaching style is all about fostering a growth mindset and tailoring lessons to your unique learning style. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, I'm here to help you achieve your musical goals. I create engaging lesson plans that include music theory, exercises, and songs you love. You tell me which songs or musicians you love, and I will teach you everything you need to know through those songs! What sets me apart is my background as an elementary school teacher, musician, and online instructor, ensuring a structured yet positive learning environment. Lessons are for both kids (ages 5 and up) and adults, and I've successfully taught students from diverse backgrounds. Let's dive into the world of music together – I can't wait to share my passion and knowledge with you!
