About Kathy
You are my student, you are an individual who learns in the way best suited to your needs. Not all students are created equal whether they are an A student, have a learning disability, or English isn't their first language. I can teach you how to read and speak in an acceptable manner for your age as a student or as an adult how to use proper English for Canada and how to read English as well. I was always told I was the world's worst speller, but I was Home-based business of the year through the Chamber of Commerce and earned the YWCA Women of Distinction Award. I taught students to read, enjoy reading and instilled confidence in their lives. All ages deserve respect and confidence to achieve their life's goals. I can show you how.

I have worked with children with Dyslexia and Verbal Apraxia who just can't learn in the regular way in a classroom. I love working with people who want to learn the English Language to communicate better and to be fluent in English when filling out applications. Not every student learns in the same way. When a teacher gave my son a concussion because he couldn't read the words in his book but could tell the teacher word for word what was written in the grade 4 student's book without the book in front of him I decided I would teach my children how to read at home. They just learned differently than the average student. Today they are mechanics, carpenter and French/English teacher & a Vice Principal. Make the task fun and encouraging each student is individual.
