My lessons will be based on what my student's mission, goal(s) and/or objective(s) are so whether it is life learning or to pass a specific class or a specific test or even write a resume for a job. The course will be structured predicated upon the student's needs first.
A typical lesson plan for passing class for example would involve reviewing each chapter and key concepts to reasonably assure that there is competent due diligent understanding of the material. I also prefer to get a chapter or so ahead of the course and teacher that my student currently has to set that proactive learning so that my students can fully participate in each class and show the winning formula my students receive when they become my students. After all "preparation is the key to success!"
