About Alana
I am currently a student in the concurrent education program at York University. I am almost halfway through my B.ED and am looking for new students to work with. My experience includes;
1. Observing and working in a TDSB School
2. Tutoring through the Leading to reading program through Toronto public libraries
3. 6 years of teaching swimming through the City of Toronto

I primarily base my classes around your child's educational needs and use the current ontario curriculum to support and guide this learning. I also have many resources available to me being in York Universities concurrent education program. I am currently looking to work with students from kindergarten to grade 6 as my degree is specialized in the primary/junior division. I like to create a positive, enjoyable learning environment while still utilizing a firm approach. I am extremely nurturing and I feel as though this helps immensely in creating a bond with my students during my classroom sessions
