About Kaich
For many of my students, learning the flute is about so much more than music—it’s about rediscovering themselves. I specialize in adult education for students aged 50 and up because I know how powerful this kind of learning can be at this stage in life. My teaching process is built on patience, adaptability, and encouragement. From your very first lesson, you’ll learn how to hold the flute comfortably, shape your breath into a clean tone, and begin to create sounds that reflect your own personality. We’ll work through music literacy at your pace, but I also support learning by ear and using intuitive methods like pattern recognition and storytelling. Lessons often include short improvisations, rhythmic games, or guided breathing techniques to support your overall sense of ease and creativity. Progress is tracked through shared reflections and custom exercises designed just for you. If you’ve ever thought “I wish I had learned when I was younger,” I’m here to show you that now is exactly the right time.

My flute lessons are all about unlocking your creativity and giving you the tools to express yourself musically at any stage of life. I specialize in teaching adults, and most of my students are 50+ with a wide range of backgrounds and musical goals.
Whether you’re learning for fun, for brain health, or to revisit a childhood dream, I’ll help you move forward with confidence. I blend classical technique with user-friendly technology—recording apps, slow-down software, practice logs—to make learning easier and more intuitive.
In our lessons, you’ll learn how to make a beautiful sound, keep a steady rhythm, and interpret music expressively. We also play games, write reflections, and listen deeply. You’ll come away from each session not only having learned something new but having reconnected with your sense of play and exploration.
