About Natalee

I hold an MA in Communication Studies from The University of Alabama, where I earned two teaching awards for Outstanding MA Teaching and Outstanding Teaching across the entire School of Communication & Information Sciences. Over six years, I taught collegiate-level Public Speaking and Organizational Communication at The University of Alabama and the Community College of Denver, including 11th- and 12th-grade high school students enrolled in college credit courses. My teaching experience extends far beyond the university classroom. I’ve worked with ESL learners, students with learning and mental health disabilities, and middle school students as a substitute teacher in inner-city classrooms. I’ve also taught and mentored underprivileged students, including those experiencing homelessness. These experiences have given me patience, adaptability, and the ability to connect with learners from all walks of life. I specialize in public speaking, resume and professional writing, academic and creative writing, proofreading, and literacy. My approach is highly interactive and activity-based, always tailored to individual needs and learning styles. I believe every student brings unique strengths and goals, and my role is to provide the tools, strategies, and encouragement to help you succeed. Whether you’re preparing a speech, refining a dissertation, or building confidence in literacy, I’ll meet you where you are and support your growth. In short: I’ve seen it all, worked with students from every background, and I bring a wealth of patience, creativity, and proven experience to every lesson.
