About Emma-Jane
I am Emma-Jane, but you can call me EJ! I have lived in a few big cities in my life such as Shanghai and Kuala Lumpur, so I am experienced in talking to many different people of many different backgrounds. I am currently studying BSc English Literature and Theatre Studies at the University of Leeds. I have a huge love and passion for the subject and would like to share the love of English with people who are keen to learn. I would like to help students achieve their greatest potential and being a student.

I can understand how hard exam pressure is and the toll it can take on someone. Therefore, my online lessons will be a comfortable space where we work at the pace of the student! I will talk to them about what it is they find difficult, and work my lesson plans around them. I would mainly focus on GCSE English Language and Literature or International Baccalaureate English Language and Literature. As well as this, I studied Drama at GCSE level and International Baccalaureate Theatre Studies, so I am able to help with written work for that too. I speak a bit of Mandarin as I lived in Shanghai for a bit of my life, therefore, I could teach students who speak Mandarin to further develop their English.
