About Lindsay
Teaching has always been a dream of mine. I would regularly fashion a class of my dolls and teddy bears as a class when I was a child. I couldn’t wait until I could guide, encourage and support a group of my own students into enjoying learning as much as I enjoyed teaching. I Ehad my children whilst I was young, raised my family and decidedb to study for a degree in English literature and Creative writing. I am incredibly passionate about English as a subject and I am well aware of how significant the changes can be in learning or mastering a language. I work with many EAL students from around the world who have made strides in their English proficiency levels. I endeavour to teach as many students as possible, to show them that anybody can learn and achieve unimaginable things.

I have recently tutored a number of students in English language and literature. Two of these students had been predicted a grade 2. After six months of tutoring with myself, both students achieved a grade 6 in both language and literature.
I believe in a student centered approach to teaching combined with regular assessing to ascertain progress. I am confident that all learners, can, and will succeed with the right level of commitment and motivation.
