About Eoin
My name is Eoin, an easy-going tutor with the aim for you to come home and gain a new, up-to-date learning experience. Because I only sat my GCSEs 3 years ago, I can relate to the system more than your teacher that has an outdated perspective of how learning needs to be.

My lessons are as long as you would like them to be! However, as I am teaching GCSE and younger ages, I recommend keeping lessons to under 1 hour.
Tailored learning: I felt English taught in school was made unnecessarily complicated. I want to bring analysis and its application in essay writing back to the basics, at a tempo tailored to your child.
I will ask for photographs or photocopies of their most recent work, so I can address where they can improve in a 1:1 setting, where my focus is devoted to them, and not 30+ other children.
I will use a combination of short activities/tasks, followed by practice questions, with guidance from me and then when your child is ready, independently.
