About Julia
I am originally from Hong Kong and have tutored over 30 students. I specialise in teaching English Language and Literature as analysing pieces of art has always been fun to me. I started teaching English basics to young children in primary school and quickly moved onto holding after-school sessions for secondary school Chinese students whose confidence in English lacked. I have also taken IB and GCSE individuals who wanted to improve their analytical ability or had difficulty writing with academic fluency. I aim to make sure the space I make with my students is comfortable and as enjoyable as it can be!

Going through the extract or essay and highlighting areas of improvement needed. We can start from the basics, an intermediate level, or encourage a level that would suit the work equivalent of a University graduate. Lessons are flexible and can vary depending on what the student prefers.
I have mostly taught students from Hong Kong who have now graduated with over 40/45 points for IB or achieved high grades in English GCSE. My experience stretches to working with young children aged 3 to high school students. I specialise with guiding second language English users to achieve their personal and academic goals.
