About Anna
My name is Anna, and I am a veteran ELA, English Literature, writing, and literacy coach for middle and high school age learners!
I love learning with my students, and it is my goal to help you be successful in your reading, writing, and speaking based classes while also finding joy in practicing your literacy.
As a doctoral candidate in literacy acquisition, you can be sure that every activity and technique I use with my students is founded on research into best practices.

I believe that learning is a collaborative dance where students and teachers work together to deepen their knowledge through skills-based explorations of topics important to the learner. Today's virtual environments are a playground of reading, writing, and speaking activities that can help students develop new-age skills that set them up for future success and build on the traditions of the past.
As a tutor, I excel in working with neurotypical students as well as students on the ADHD and autism spectrums and have had success with students who may have struggled in the rigid environment of the classroom.
