About Nora
For the past 9 years, I’ve taught piano with a focus on performance readiness and real-world application. My foundation comes from an Associate of Music in Piano Skills. I’ve guided students into roles ranging from worship leaders to theater accompanists and wedding band pianists. These are roles I understand well and love preparing students for. My teaching is always personalized to the student’s needs. I believe motivation is key to progress, so I create lessons that are both challenging and encouraging. Worship-focused students learn how to create supportive and uplifting music for congregations. Those preparing for community theater discover the art of timing, flexibility, and collaboration. Wedding performers practice the balance of beauty, consistency, and professionalism. Each lesson connects practice to performance. My students develop not only skills but also the confidence to use them. I want every student to feel ready for the stage, service, or special event. That readiness is the heart of my teaching philosophy.

I approach piano teaching with a focus on today’s music. My lessons highlight pop piano skills that go beyond traditional training. We cover playing by ear, so you can figure out melodies without sheet music. Chord voicings are explored in depth, giving you the ability to add richness and style. Arranging contemporary songs is part of the process, making lessons practical and exciting. I enjoy teaching adults who are learning for fun, as well as players who want to master their favorite pop songs. My method pushes students to actually play full pieces they enjoy. It’s not just about scales and exercises, but about real songs. I guide students in building rhythm and groove that capture modern styles. Every lesson balances structure with freedom. You’ll learn both technique and creativity. My approach makes piano accessible and enjoyable, no matter your level. Together, we’ll unlock the secrets of pop piano.
