Stuart was very kind and comprehensive. The lessons were very interesting and helpful, both in-person and online. I came across Stuart in July 2017, when I was looking for a GCSE English tutor for both ‘language and literature’

My son was due to start year 10 in Sept. 2017 and have his English Literature exam that year. We only had 8 months to prepare him.

English was my son’s least favourite and he struggled with it but Stuart made lessons interesting and come to life by talking through the topic during each lesson.

Stuart’s forte lies in ‘Creative writing’. He supports students by setting them creative writing task in each lesson, He introduces new and exciting ‘buzz’ words and encourages them to use these regularly. This made a huge difference to my son. It built his confidence, motivated him and gave him tools for his work.

Our tutor has really helped him with both - exam technique and boost his overall confidence.
