About Joshua
I have two degrees from UW-Whitewater: Communications - Electronic Media, and Film Studies, which, fun fact, I am the first to graduate with that specific degree. It was more focused on analysis and writing than production, so I've taken to calling it a "specialized English" degree.
I tutored for two years up there as well, getting numerous instances of positive feedback from librarians and students alike. I've also guest taught at Greenfield High School, both in journalism and theater.

I like to keep it conversational when teaching. I may do most of the talking, sure, but making sure that you're on the same page as a student is very important to me. I keep it loose and fun but without losing the seriousness that education requires. I value knowledge intensely, but I also love Star Wars so maybe we can find some common ground.

Details
I work 11-7 daily, so my hours would tend to skew later. Traveling isn't a terrible thing, so I'm negotiable on additional fees, if there even will be any. Inclement weather may limit my travel, as Wisconsin's been having terrible winters the last few years. As I'm allowed on my phone at work, communication will not be a problem, and I'll never be mad at a cancellation. If I were to need a night off, I'd let the parent/child know immediately.
