My name is Grace and I have been teaching English for more than two years. My phone number is (concealed information) and email is (concealed information) Most of my students are businessmen, people who need to pass English tests ( IELTS and PTE) and others who want to improve their general English proficiency.
I always hold fun classes where my students can laugh and have a good time while learning the English language. We will always have a laugh in class and have a fun time learning all the English basics and fundamentals. I have a true passion for teaching and always want to see my students do their best and improve every step of the way.
Lessons can be delivered in various ways, including teaching to extend current knowledge and revising learning contents taught in schools. Lessons can be in individual or group settings. Preferably in public environment, however this can be negotiated. Each lesson should cover revision and teaching pace would depend on students' learning progress.
My sole mantra for teaching is patience. I remain calm and composed during my classes. My approach to teach a student is to start from the basic and then move step by step to the next level. I also encourage two-way communication in my classes.
English is a language not to be memorized but to practice. The more you speak the more you learn. Therefore, my methods are very practical and the student will be able to write and speak proper English in a short period. I will focus on the weak area of the student and create a study plan accordingly.
I base my classes on what the student wants to learn firstly. It is completely dependent on them. I have lesson plans in which I have used in Thailand -- ranging from elementary to proficient. I will help you with all of your necessities.
I am 39 years old living in Melbourne and currently work online for a large Chine company teaching English as a second language to teenagers and adults.
My teaching curriculum is customized based on each students individual requirements and accent/ origin that may require additional language training.
I look at my student and at what level he/she is and teach him/her accordingly and make him/her complete tasks
Lesson is structured according to knowledge and time availablibity of student.
My teaching method is largely non-textbook based. I would like to have a conversation with you to gauge where you are on your abilities, and work from there. I mainly teach English to those who are keen on learning from a more conversational angle, rather than from textbooks and practice questions.
I teach other people English by conversing with them normally. I can make my own handouts or tests to enhance students' learning experience so that they can work on their English without my immediate supervision as well. First, I teach students how to understand statements which they will encounter in daily life.
I start with a goal-oriented, back planning approach. I set a simple goal for the long term and one for each class. From there i work backwards to plan lessons that incorporate multiple English literacy skills: writing, reading, listening, speaking, and understanding.
I see teaching as involving a reciprocal relationship between teachers and students - I believe that teachers have duties to their students and that students, likewise, have duties to their teachers.
My teaching method is interactive, challenging and fun. I usually begin a lesson with a warm up activity related to previous subjects we've learned together, allowing students to fully engage with me and the upcoming lesson. Post warm up activity, I make a list of questions to begin with the lesson, aquiring some pre knowledge from student, following a made up lesson with interative activities.
- Bachelor of Arts graduate from the University of Melbourne - Intending to start my Master of Teaching (early childhood & primary) mid-2018 - Passionate about learning and educating - Lessons geared more towards non-native English speakers I believe that both learning and teaching should be a fun and exciting experience, and that student should gain more than just academic knowledge.
My teaching methodology is simple. Give my students a fun, engaging environment and create a positive learning atmosphere. I can cater my lessons to each students learning abilities. My lessons can be geared to students from low- beginner to high- advanced. The subject matter can stay the same, but the complexity of it will change depending on the level.
My teaching method is learner-centered. I base my class on unique individual needs and I approach a topic from non (generalized) rule to unknown (personalized) rule. All lessons are based on the set objectives with both learning and teaching aids while being mindful of the age and intellectual capacity of each learner.
I was employed as an English teacher for 12 months at Linnies International, an English conversation school in Utsunomiya, Japan, to provide a North American English experience to students of all ages and professions. Being a small school, my class sizes fell between one to seven people. However, I would also sometimes be asked to give larger lessons at a high school or a company.
Make people relaxed via humour, inclusiveness and empathy, with a strong focus on peer correction
My teaching experience to date has focused on improving students oral and listening English skills to improve their conversational English. I can also help with vocabulary and grammar if students wish to focus on this. I also have experience teaching EFL to students phonetically using the I Can Read system in Thailand and this suits some students to learn this way.
I adjust my sessions to each individual as I understand that every student is unique in their learning abilities, pace, and preferred structure. I firmly believe in guiding students and challenging them to seek out their own answers and attempt every solution first before being influenced by the tutor.
My first ever class will consist of a 'lets get to know each other' session, which might include food (no promises). It would also consist of a pretest that you will be required to finish off so I may assess your abilities and reach. Based on your results of the pretest and come other questions I will draw a tailored to your need lesson plan.

As we all know English is world's widely spoken language,So the best approach towards teaching someone a language starts from a conversation in the language because spoken English is easy to learn and can lead you to writing and other aspects.
I make my classes very interactive and interesting by engaging my students in different activities. My students literally enjoy attending my classes as we dont only gather knowledge, we go into direct application of it.
I want to know exactly what YOU want to learn so I can adapt my content and delivery to suit your needs.
