I am an approachable, friendly maths tutor with over 1800 hours of experience teaching a variety of abilities, in levels from KS3 up to A level further maths.

1. Get to know the student and tell them about me, so they feel relaxed and comfortable.
2. Identify the areas of mathematics that they need to work on by completing past papers and practice questions.
3. Determine which approach will be most beneficial for the student - e.g. explanations of theory, practice questions, or visualisations.
4. Plan and execute tailor-made lessons utilising the approaches found to be most effective for the student.
5. Keep sessions engaging and fun. I use an interactive whiteboard as well as drawings to help students visualise maths problems.
6. I will provide (if necessary) concise, simple notes to summarise each topic covered for the student to use for future revision and learning.
I am also happy to answer any additional out-of-session questions and last-minute pre-exam queries. Depending on the time commitment this may incur a small additional fee.
Since this is my primary source of income - On the day cancellations still require full payment.

Details
I have a great space at my home to host sessions, although i am more than happy to travel to you. I will charge a small additional fee to cover my expenses and the additional time commitment.
