About Rebecca
In the daytime, I am a full-time Operations and GDPR Compliance Manager, with over 5 years experience in practical aspects of running start-up companies and daily business activities.
I am lucky to be a mother to a wonderful 8 year old, and during Covid I adapted to learning from home with him in a way that gave me transferrable skills and an understanding about various learning approaches.
I believe everyone can succeed in a topic, if they are given enough patience and encouragement. Often it is not the subject that is a challenge, but finding a way to connect that subject with an individual in a style they understand that makes tutoring successful.
I do believe that one on one learning environments can be especially helpful to achieving the goals of a pupil.

I managed to achieve a 1st Class Hons degree despite having a diagnosed learning disability and this is what will make me a great tutor. I also hold a Masters in Human Nutrition, in addition to my degree, and aside from my professional qualifications, I am passionate about English Literature and poetry as a hobby.
I understand that lessons need to be tailored to the individual, and due to experience and research into my own learning style, am fully aware of the different formats and techniques which work best depending on a pupils learning style.
My aim will be to build a lesson around the students needs, and reach a goal in a way that empowers the student to feel more confident.
