I approach each topic by explaining the content while writing notes and examples out in full for the student to follow. Then I will give questions to attempt and support the student while they are doing them. I will cover specific requested topics or will start from the beginning of the course and work through to the end. Depending on the topics and session length I would aim to do at least one topic in one session.
