About Sanjana

I’m Sanjana, a 1st year medical student at UNSW. I teach UCAT ,ISAT and Medical Interviews. I have gotten a 95th Percentile in UCAT and ISAT in 2023. As an international student myself, I struggled to find resources for ISAT prep and thus, I have prepared tips on how to score well in ISAT, as well as approaching each question type in UCAT.

Getting excellent grades is just one part of cracking the medical school admission process and the interview is the next crucial part of it. Personally, I remember that when I got UNSW's BMed/MD interview offer, I was looking for reliable resources and packages to prepare for it, however I realised that there are only a few golden tips and I provide targeted coaching to ace the interviews.

I am also experienced in teaching high school students as I used to teach Science and Maths to 25 students at HSC Level/ A Levels in my Gap Year.

About the lesson

My methodology stands out for several reasons:

1. Firstly, I will ask where you currently are at, your progress and the problems that you are currently facing.

2. Then I will offer insights into approaching different question styles. For example, in ISAT, there are 2 sections, Critical Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning and knowing how much time to spend on the different question types and developing the right mindset to solve them is crucial. In UCAT, the sections that many students seem to struggle in are VR and AR so I will practice and go through questions of these topics. Besides for these topics, I will go through other topics based on what students are struggling with.

3. Then, I will develop a personalised strategy and some tips that will suit you and work out more problems to see which strategy works best for you.

4. I will then go through a few mock interview questions for interview prep and stimulate real-world scenarios.

5. At the end of every session, we'll wrap up by reviewing our sessions. Afterwards, I'll send you detailed summary notes via email, outlining the strategies we covered, for your reference in your self study sessions.

I also know how bad test and interview anxiety can be so you can feel free to tell me anything that you are having problems with, doesn't have to be academic related.
