I am David! I have been playing chess since age nine, and I just finished studying Engineering Physics at Cornell! My passion is teaching, and I have taught hundreds of hours over the last few years, mostly in outdoor education and mathematics :)

If you have an idea on what you would like to study, I will prep a lesson on that topic, including puzzles, historical games, and a few positions to play through.
If you are a beginner, I can teach fundamental principles and play some diagnostic games to help identify points for improvements. I am also happy to review some of your past games with you! I can give you more insight than, say, the Chess.com "coach" :)
