About Claire

I am currently a second year medical student studying a Doctor of Medicine (Griffith) at the Sunshine Coast Health Institute. I studied Medical Science as my undergraduate at the University of the Sunshine Coast. I graduated from Somerville House in 2020, receiving an ATAR of 99.60 (OP 1 equivalent). I studied English, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Chinese.

About the lesson

With over 4 years of tutoring experience, I aim to create a supportive learning environment and help students excel academically. I understand every student has unique strengths, weaknesses, and learning preferences; I ensure to tailor my teaching approach to meet their individual needs, help consolidate their knowledge, and build their confidence. I always encourage students to ask questions and participate in discussions, reinforcing the importance of active learning. Having personally gone through the new ATAR system, I am familiar with the syllabus and assessment requirements and can assist with exam preparation and drafting assignments.

I tutor all year levels in English, Maths, Chemistry, and Biology. I offer online tutoring over Zoom, though may do in-person upon request. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions :)
