About Cameron

I was a late starter in chess, playing my first tournament rated game at the age of 18, so I know how difficult it can be to improve. I am rated 2400+ on chess.com on multiple time controls, and have a FIDE rating of 1911. I have drawn a Grandmaster, and beaten multiple International Masters in rated OTB games, and am excited to teach my students the methods that allowed me to achieve these results. I hold master's degrees in mathematics and data science, and have been coaching for several years already!

About the lesson

I am a patient and enthusiastic coach with plenty of experience! As a coach we would work on all aspects of your game, and we can work to tailor a powerful and effective opening repertoire to meet your strengths as a player. My lessons typically last for 1 hour but there is flexibility within this. I have a large database of personally collected puzzles and model games that we will study together, as well as vast opening knowledge that we will use to craft you the perfect repertoire! I am looking to take on students of any age and capability. Let's see what we can achieve together
