About Kimathi
Hii, I am a second-year med student in the Preston area who completed the IB program in Geneva, Switzerland. I took Chemistry, Biology (which I continue to excel at here at medical school) and Economics at HL as well as English B, French B and Maths studies at Standard level. In the past I have taught students a variety of fields, from sailing and music to maths and languages.

As a 2nd Year Medical student, I try to maintain very interactive and fun environemnt as I try to give the student an initial understanding of a topic through the use of comprehensive images, diagrams and other visual aids which giving the student their own personal understanding of it (being a student who's been tutored in the past, I find this approach allows one to best retain what is taught through building one's understanding with a solid metal base). Once the fundamentals are absorbed, I break down certain aspects of a specific sub-topic(s) into similarly comprehensible sections giving the student the opportunity to apply their understandings from the initial overview to fill in those gaps with any assistance they may require along the way.
