About Veronica
I’m currently a student at Queen Mary University of London, not long ago I achieved 3 A’s in my maths, further maths, and physics A-levels. I believe being a university student gives me an upper hand as a tutor, as I am still freshly familiar with the curriculum and the personal experiences of GCSE and A-level students a few years younger than me. I can explain concepts in straight-forward and accessible ways, which many scholars sometimes fail to do when teaching GCSE.

My tutoring style focuses on targeting areas the student struggles with as well as building core skills and curating a revision style which is tailored to the individuals learning. I want to share the study-approved methods which helped me achieve 3 A’s in my maths, further maths, and physics A-levels two years ago.
I’ve always had a natural affinity for maths, my in-depth knowledge will ensure I’ll be able to explain tough concepts in multiple respects, guaranteeing a thorough understanding for my students. I not only want to get the best possible results from my students, but I also aim to change their understanding of what maths can be - nurturing the confidence of a great mathematician is super important to me!
In the past I’ve privately tutored one student for a year, who went from a grade D to a B in A-level mathematics, I’m pleased to say that she is now thriving at university!
