About Alexa
I am a 2nd year student at UCL, studying biomedical engineering. My course at university heavily focuses on maths so I still retain knowledge about mathematical functions and problem solving.
I have A levels in maths, physics and biology.
I was a teaching assistant at a supplementary school for a class with children aged 11-14. This allowed me to see which learning methods were the most captivating to the students and how to sustain their interest in a subject.

I have received help from maths tutors during my GCSE period so I know several teaching methods I could use to tailor the student's learning experience.
My teaching can be specific to the student:
it could involve the student preparing me with a topic that they want help with or specific exam questions they don't know how to answer before the lesson, and I will use my resources and my knowledge to prepare the lesson for the student, hopefully answering all of their questions.
I could also teach basics and provide lessons involving the basic theory of a mathematical topic, methods of problem solving, exam questions and recap.
