About Maxie
An undergrad studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering at UTS and 2024 HSC graduate. I was a recipient of the 2024 Youth Innovator Award and a regional finalist of the year 10 Science and Engineering Challenge in 2022.
I realized my passion for teaching when I taught and tutored my high school science club. Taking the year 8-10s through practical labs, preparing them for the Science and engineering challenge and teaching them HSC topics.
I understand the struggles of the final years of high school, especially the pressures of the HSC. I'd like to help you avoid making the same mistakes as me, while helping you get engaged, and trying to make the experience as enjoyable as possible.

Every student is different. I believe keeping them engaged via relating their study to their interests, is incredibly important, so on top of learning content and practice questions. Help and encouragement with personal and school projects, relating current studies to further studies and practical applications, and more.
Lesson time can range from 1 to 2 hours.
A 2nd year Engineering Student I have experience with advanced mathematics, physics, report writing, basic programming. Along with tutoring and supervising high schoolers in lab and project-based settings. As well as tutoring math at university.
Engineering Student teaching primarily math along with physics and engineering studies at a Stage 5, Preliminary and HSC level. Other Subjects can be accommodated to a lesser extent.
