About Faheem
Passionate and friendly Chemical Engineering student who can help you achieve whatever grade you desire! I love to share my knowledge with others, and not only will I improve your results, but I can also provide additional resources to help you learn in hopes of maximising your potential.
I have the patience and communicative skills necessary to deliver effective lessons to people of all ages. I could never judge a person’s ability (we’ve all got to start somewhere!) and can take all the time needed to work through a topic. I treat all my students fairly and equally and want to make students feel comfortable so that they have the confidence to raise any query they have, therefore making them a great learner.
In school, I had a good experience with exams. I attained 7 9's at GCSE and 4 A*s at A-Level. I can improve your exam technique and revision skills alongside the content. I won’t skim over important details and will also not teach you something irrelevant, ensuring the lesson is given as efficient as possible with the limited time we have.

When planning a lesson, I look at the topic to teach and find out from the specification what they need to know and understand. I start the lesson with a back and forth discussion to identify their existing level of understanding. Then I teach roughly half of the content while adapting what I'm saying to any question asked by my student. We would end by going through some exam-style questions together and individually.
My lessons last an hour and I have 13 months of teaching experience. I am happy to teach at any age and level.
