About Henry
I am an engineering student with a passion for STEM and problem solving but also a love for teaching. Through my sailing instructing challenges I have a range of experience teaching old, to young, ambitious to nervous students and seeing them all grow and improve makes my day every time. I teach with clear intent to help students grow academically through helping improve knowledge, understanding and confidence, as well as having fun!

My aim in my lessons is about solidifying stronger topics and focusing on weak ones. I like to come to a lesson prepared on what we will focus on with the aim of coming out of a lesson with a better understanding and confidence on particular topics of focus. The lessons can be 1-2 hrs for GCSE or A-Level standards. I take most of my experience of teaching from coaching sailing for 3 years up to an International level but I also have a small amount of experience tutoring academics through close connections.
