About Maria
I'm Maria, a 3rd-year medical student at the University of Exeter, and a very enthusiastic tutor in my spare time. I've been tutoring since sixth form, when I helped fellow classmates with their tests and exams, as well as younger students. Outside of medical school, I enjoy swimming and playing netball.

I specialise in GCSE and A-level Maths and Science, with two years of experience teaching online and four years of tutoring overall. Lessons typically last one hour and are tailored to each student, covering school content as well as any topics they're struggling with in class, so they can reach their full academic potential. I've had great success helping students improve, including jumps from grade 3 to grade 7 at GCSE, and from a B to an A at A-level. Feedback is provided to parents at the end of each session, with weekly summaries also available on request. I use interactive teaching methods, past papers, and online whiteboards to keep lessons engaging and effective.
