About Cedric
I am a retired educator with 30+ years experience. I have served as an Earth, Life, and Physical Science teacher for 9 years and transitioned to serving as an Assistant Principal for 21 years. As an Assistant Principal, I covered many classes in the Math and Science departments due to teacher vacancies and shortages due to Covid. I also was the administrator that directly supervised the committee which was instrumental in our school becoming STEAM certified in 2021.

I provide interactive, engaging lessons that include a variety of online resources including the platforms IXL and Khan Academy. I incorporate the I Do, We Do, You Do approach when providing instruction for my students.
My personal philosophy is that the most important thing you can do is build a relationship with your students through trust which is why I begin my initial lesson with a Goal Setting/Getting to Know You Activity. I firmly believe that 'students do not care what you know until they know that you care'.
