I have so many different ways to help with Elementary level math! My philosophy in my classroom is “it’s okay to be wrong, it never ok to not try”. We must make mistakes in order to learn. I like to start the lesson with a quick warm up. Then move into a I do/you do cadence. This works like this:
I show you a problem, work through it with you. If you feel confident with trying one on your own, it’s all yours. I will be right there to guide you if you have any questions.
