About Kinsey
I am a 4th year Chemistry major at Chico State with a strong background in Math, Science, Physics, and Writing. I was also a private and group tutor for general chemistry for 2 years, through this I have experience assisting students with homework, problem-solving, and test taking strategies/preparation. Most importantly, I strive to ensure that every student knows that they are capable of learning, so it is my job as their tutor to teach in a way that works for them. Together, I know that we will build a stronger learner and a student that is confident in the classroom!

As a tutor I have been described as professional yet casual. My approach is very personal, I always ensure I am teaching in a way that works for the student(s). I am always adjusting my style and lessons until we find something that clicks. Tutoring is unpredictable, so my typical lessons are based off of the students needs. All I need to know is the subject matter and we will work from there, as questions arise we will work through them, learn from them, and continue to build confidence and knowledge.
