About Emmett
I’m a 4th year undergraduate student studying Earth and Environmental sciences at McMaster University. This semester I’m a guest student at University of New Brunswick.
I have a passion for learning and spreading knowledge.
I have an extensive background knowledge in the fundamental sciences (chemistry, biology, and math).
I believe in putting student’s needs first and making education as accessible as possible. As someone who has struggled with adhd I realize the challenges learning in a rigid system that only teaches one way can present.
That’s why I approach teaching in a student first manner. Working with the student to develop learning strategies and time management skills that work for them.

I work directly with the student using an interdisciplinary approach to come up with techniques and strategies that work for the student.
No two students are the same so coming at the problem using learning strategies that work for each unique student is key!
I teach the middle to highschool age range in a variety of subjects including Earth sciences (Geology, hydrology, etc), environmental sciences, chemistry, biology, math, and history.
