About Oliver
Originally from South London, I’ve always enjoyed challenging myself and helping others reach their potential. Before pursuing medicine, I enjoyed competing in athletics, which taught me the value of discipline, resilience, and hard work. Outside of medicine, I love travelling, spending time with dogs, and experiencing different cultures. One of my most rewarding experiences was teaching students in Malawi, where I developed a real appreciation for adapting my teaching style to different learners and making education engaging and accessible. I strive to create a fun, friendly, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and achieving their goals.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, focusing on building a deep understanding of concepts before applying them to exam-style questions. I use evidence-based learning techniques, including active recall, spaced repetition, retrieval practice, and regular formative assessment to maximise long-term retention and exam performance.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but I am flexible and can change this to fit the students needs. Whether the goal is to improve confidence, boost grades, or achieve top marks, I provide a supportive, engaging learning environment that helps students develop both subject knowledge and effective study skills.
