About Lauren
Hi, I'm Lauren and I'm a 4th year medical student at the University of Leicester with a passion for paediatrics and psychiatry. I want to tutor as I remember how daunting the medical school application felt for me and help reduce the anxiety felt around this time. I'd love to share what I've learnt to make it easier for others and make applications and medical school more manageable for others.

I have a personalised teaching approach focused on making each lesson unique to the student's needs and goals. I focus on areas such as medical school interviews, including UCAT preparation and personal statements, as well as core medicine subjects like anatomy and physiology. With a high UCAT score, I got offered 3 interviews and 3 places at the medical schools I applied to. I offer strategic advice for approaching applications. I am passionate about supporting students applying for medical school or who need assistance with their studies. As someone who has dyslexia, I can offer unique insights for those looking for support or resources for those navigating medical school with neurodevelopmental conditions. My lessons are tailored to both prospective medical students and medical students to help them achieve their educational goals.
